I have always been drawn to beauty. A very specific kind that I couldn't find anywhere except in my own imagination. Until I realised that if I want to see it outside of me too, I have to make it.

Making things is how I explore it. Everything begins as an image in my mind — sometimes defined, sometimes quite vague and organic — and then I find out what it can look like when I sit down to create.

The objects I make are the world I love living inside. Giving them the form of jewellery, something you can wear or use to decorate your space, is how I bring that world into the physical. Then I make them available for everyone who wants to have them be a part of their world too.

Studio Sö is based in Vienna. Everything is designed, embroidered, and finished here, under one roof. I am the artist, and my partner brings his 17 years of professional embroidery experience to turn those designs into refined products.
